Happy 4th of July everyone!
In honor of the most patriotic day of the year, I find that there is only one person that I can write about today in good conscious.
That’s right, Tim Tebow…God bless.
Anyway, while there hasn’t been a whole lot of news lately concerning the “Chosen One”, there has been a steady amount of talk going on this summer about 1.) Tebow just not being good enough for the NFL, 2.) The Gator’s attempting to make him more appealing to the National Football League folks by working on his throwing mechanics, and 3.) how he is the single best college quarterback who ever played and how he can make a blind man see and cure leprosy with a single touch.

Tebow is a nutty football player. He has leadership powers that politicians savor. Timmy has poise, confidence, and skills few college athletes have ever had. Nevertheless Tim Tebow bothers the hell out of me.
ReplyDeleteThe man is little Favre when it comes to media coverage. The media has a crush on him that's boarder line creepy. I swear they're going to run a story about how he was spotted running on water in between two-a-days. I wish him success and he is a very good man. I understand that. I just wish the press wouldn't go overboard with it...
Oh Gawwwd, the Tim Tebow lovefest continues. January 2010 (Tebow's last game) can't get here soon enough!

I agree with Bill. You would think like-minded sports journalists could read their audience and figure out that we are all a little sick of hearing about Tebow...
ReplyDeleteBut at least it is refreshing to know that Tebow actually does stuff like mission work and community service, and not just trying to get endorsments like other "gods of College football" like Reggie Bush was...
